Doesn't that cover tonight? 16:16 Dorian Pell: The guarantee starts tomorrow, when the conference begins. You and your colleague added tonight separately at the leisure rate. The standard company allowance covers only half the fare, although extra transport costs caused by a canceled service can be approved. That requires a cancellation notice and a receipt. 16:25 Helena Voss: I have the ferry operator's notice. Please reserve the taxi; I'll request a receipt from the driver. We also booked dinner at the lodge for 20:30. 16:28 Dorian Pell: The kitchen closes at 21:00, but seated dinner orders must be placed by 20:30. Guests arriving later can request cold meal boxes before 17:00. 16:30 Helena Voss: Two boxes, please. We'd rather eat after checking in than rush. Please send confirmation once the rooms, taxi, and meals are arranged.

Ternwick Media Service Partner publication notice — September 3

The neighborhood census graphics package will be available to partner publications on September 18. The standard license covers one appearance in a printed newspaper and a matching image in that newspaper's subscriber-only digital edition. Posting individual graphics on publicly accessible pages requires separate written approval, even when those pages carry no advertising.

Partners may request versions bearing their own publication's name. Requests received by September 10 are included in the package price. Later requests incur a $45 production charge and will be fulfilled only if production capacity permits. Altering a graphic's colors or removing its source line is prohibited; partners may resize it if all text remains legible.

A review copy will be supplied on September 14. It is intended solely for checking names and figures and may not be published. Publication-ready files will follow on September 17. If a factual correction is necessary after that delivery, replacement files will be provided without charge, regardless of when the problem is reported.

Trial service plan for the Atrium Supper

On March 21, Bellwether Table will host the monthly Atrium Supper for the first time. Because guests purchase one ticket for the entire six-course meal, servers will not take individual food orders. They should, however, confirm dietary notes as each party is seated. The reservations team has already contacted guests who reported allergies; any new information must be given directly to shift chef Tomas Venn, not added only to the seating chart.

Although the first course is scheduled for 7:00 P.M., doors will open at 6:20. Welcome drinks will be served in the east lounge while the dining room is prepared. Servers assigned to the lounge should encourage guests to keep their numbered brass tokens. These correspond to table assignments and will later help staff guide guests into the dining room without announcing names.

The printed menu describes the mushroom course as containing smoked cream. The kitchen has since replaced that ingredient with oat foam so that the course can be served to more guests. Please mention the substitution only if asked; the chef will explain the broader menu concept after everyone is seated.

This event will serve as a rehearsal for a larger supper in May. Record any delay lasting more than three minutes on the timing sheet beside the service station. At the staff meeting the next morning, we will decide whether the lounge reception and token system should be retained.

Veldorin Personnel Institute Applications open: Workplace Leadership Assessment

Have you been assigning work, resolving scheduling problems, and guiding colleagues without holding a permanent supervisory title? Our assessment allows experienced employees to demonstrate those responsibilities through a portfolio and a practical interview. Successful participants receive a certificate describing the supervisory skills they have demonstrated.

Applicants must document at least six months of supervisory duties within the past two years. A management course alone does not meet this requirement. Employers may nominate staff, but employees may also apply independently. In either case, a current or former manager must verify the duties described; this verification confirms experience and does not constitute a recommendation for promotion.

The assessment costs $460. Employer-nominated applicants are billed through their organizations, while independent applicants pay directly. Applicants whose portfolios do not establish the required experience will receive a refund minus a $40 review charge. Practical interviews are scheduled only after portfolios have been accepted.

Certificates belong to the participants and remain valid if they change employers. Participating organizations retain their own appointment procedures: recognition here does not reserve a chair elsewhere.
