Who we are

Vikaidu is operated by Vikaidu, based in the United States ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@vikaidu.com.

The service

Vikaidu shows dual-language subtitles on YouTube and Netflix, lets you look up and save words, and helps you review them. Some features need an account, and some are available only on the Pro plan.

Vikaidu is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google or Netflix. Video and subtitle content belongs to its owners.

The TOEIC practice and mock tests on Vikaidu use original questions written for this site. The score a mock test shows is an estimate from our own published table. It is not an official TOEIC score and may differ from the score you get on the real test. TOEIC is a registered trademark of ETS. This product is not endorsed or approved by ETS.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or use the service with a parent or guardian's permission.

Free and Pro plans

The Free plan costs nothing and includes dual subtitles, quick word meanings, and review with up to 100 saved words.

Pro adds the full dictionary, AI explanations, AI translation of whole videos, unlimited saved words, Anki and CSV export, and writing practice with AI feedback. Pro features that use AI may have fair-use limits, which we show in the product.

If Pro ends, words you saved stay available to view and review. You cannot save new words while your list holds 100 or more.

Subscription, billing and auto-renewal

Pro costs USD 24 per year. The price is the same in every country; your bank or PayPal may convert it to your currency.

You pay through PayPal Subscriptions. The subscription renews automatically every year at the then-current price until you cancel. We tell you about a price change before it applies to a renewal.

If a renewal payment fails, PayPal may retry. If it still fails, or the subscription is cancelled, suspended or expires, Pro turns off.

Cancelling

You can turn off auto-renewal at any time on your account page or in PayPal. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

Refunds

You can request a refund within 7 days of any payment, including a yearly renewal. The refund is the amount you paid minus the PayPal fee on that payment. A refund ends Pro immediately and turns off auto-renewal. After 7 days there is no refund. See the Refund policy for the full rules.

Chargebacks and disputes

If you open a chargeback or a PayPal dispute about a payment, Pro is switched off while the dispute is open. Please contact us first so we can fix a problem directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share your account, or resell or redistribute the service;
• use the service to copy, download or redistribute video or subtitle content;
• try to bypass limits, probe or attack our systems, or send automated requests beyond normal use;
• use the service in a way that breaks the law or the terms of YouTube, Netflix or PayPal.

Changes and ending your access

We may change the service or these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the product or by email before it applies. You can stop using Vikaidu and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms; if we end a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of the paid period.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is. Translations and AI answers can be wrong, so check anything important. Streaming sites can change without notice and may temporarily break features.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without affecting any consumer protections that apply where you live.
